In addition to the two Eklöven teams, 68 other teams played in Pojkar 2004 C2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof HK Eklöven 1 could be found in Group 5 together with Alingsås HK 4, H 65 Höör, Borlänge HK, Huddinge HK Sthlm 2, Kävlinge HK, Vinslövs HK, Årsta AIK Stockholm 1, Halmstad Handboll VIT 3 and Åhus Handboll 4.

HK Eklöven 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Karlskrona Handboll 1 with 8-9. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 4 won over IFK Kristianstad 3 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004 C2.
