In addition to the 5 IFK Kristianstad teams, 65 other teams played in Pojkar 2004 C2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 3 could be found in Group 6 together with H43 Lund 2, LVHK Lödde 1, Halmstad Handboll 1, Alingsås HK 1, HK Eskil Eskilstuna 2, Ystads IF HF 2, Huddinge HK Sthlm 1, Karlskrona Handboll 1 and IK Bolton Sthlm 2.
IFK Kristianstad 3 made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 6. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 4 with 11-12. Thereby IFK Kristianstad 3 finished second in P04 B-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. IFK Kristianstad also participated in Pojkar 2004 C1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
