In addition to the 6 IFK Kristianstad teams, 72 other teams played in Pojkar 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 1 could be found in Group 2 together with IK Bolton Sthlm 1, Ystads IF HF 3, Vadstena HF, Trelleborg HBK 2, Alingsås HK 2, H43 Lund 2, IFK Tumba Sthlm 3, HK Ankaret Bjärred Lag 1 and Växjö HF 1.

IFK Kristianstad 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Raklev G&I, Danmark 1 with 10-11. In the Final, LVHK Lödde 1 won over HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002 B2.

IFK Kristianstad also participated in Pojkar 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in P02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund 1 with 6-9.
