In addition to the 6 IFK Kristianstad teams, 72 other teams played in Pojkar 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 4 could be found in Group 5 together with Veberöds HK, Ljunghusens HK 1, Alingsås HK 3, Ystads IF HF 4, H43 Lund 5, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 2, Växjö HF 2, IF Guif Eskilstuna 2 and Hammarby IF Sthlm 1.

IFK Kristianstad 4 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 5 with 11-14. In the Final, LVHK Lödde 1 won over HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002 B2.
