In addition to the four IFK Kristianstad teams, 55 other teams played in Pojkar 2006 D2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 4 could be found in Group 5 together with Alingsås HK 2, Lugi HF, LVHK Lödde 3, Uppsala HK 2, IFK Bankeryd 1, Karlskrona Handboll 3, Ljunghusens HK 3, Trelleborg HBK and HK Hök Laholm 2.

IFK Kristianstad 4 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund 2 with 2-12. In the Final, H43 Lund 1 won over Ystads IF HF 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006 D2.

IFK Kristianstad also participated in Pojkar 2006 D1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in P06 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 5-7.
