In addition to the two IFK Kristianstad teams, 48 other teams played in Pojkar 2000 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 1 could be found in Group 4 together with Enköpings HF 3, Lugi HF 1, Huddinge HK Sthlm 1, Halmstad Handboll 3, Uppsala HK 3, Redbergslids IK Gbg, Eslövs HF 1, Tyresö Handboll and KFUM Kalmar HK 1.

IFK Kristianstad 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Karlskrona Handboll 2 with 7-11. In the Final, Borlänge HK won over Lugi HF 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2000 A2.

IFK Kristianstad also participated in Pojkar 2000 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the Semi final in P00 A-Slutspel, but lost it against LUGI HF 1 with 8-10.
