In addition to the two IFK Kristianstad teams, 33 other teams played in Flickor 2008 E. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Bjärnums HK 2, H 65 Höör 2, Åhus Handboll 2 and Veberöds HK 2.

IFK Kristianstad 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against HK Ankaret Bjärred with 2-5. In the Final, HK Ankaret Bjärred won over LVHK Lödde 4 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2008 E.
