Maskulint Initiativ was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to Maskulint Initiativ, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Maskulint Initiativ could be found in Group 4 together with Ballerz, H.L. BioMedical AB, Mmm Tacos and BK ore brottning. Maskulint Initiativ continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HAK with 10-12. In the Final, Utvecklingsklassen won over Genföreningen and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Maskulint Initiativ originates from Åhus, which is the same city as where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
