In addition to the two Trelleborg teams, 76 other teams played in Pojkar 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Trelleborg HBK 1 could be found in Group 6 together with Åhus Handboll 3, Hammarby IF Sthlm 2, Kärra HF Göteborg, H43 Lund 4, Åhus Handboll 2, Staffanstorps HK 1, IFK Bankeryd, IF Guif Eskilstuna 1 and Raklev G&I, Danmark 1.

Trelleborg HBK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Rimbo HK Roslagen with 5-10. In the Final, Rimbo HK Roslagen won over HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002 B2.

Trelleborg HBK also participated in Pojkar 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in P02 B-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 2 with 7-8.
