In addition to Gubbängen/Tallen IK, 72 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Gubbängen/Tallen IK could be found in Group 5 together with Eslövs HF 2, Växjö HF, IFK Strängnäs, Tollarps IF 1, IFK Kristianstad 1, Halmstad Handboll 1, HK Aranäs 4 and OV Helsingborg HK 1.

Gubbängen/Tallen IK continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Skuru IK with 7-8. In the Final, Skuru IK won over HK Aranäs 2 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.
