In addition to the three Alingsås teams, 70 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 1 could be found in Group 8 together with VästeråsIrsta HF, IFK Tumba HK, IFK Kristianstad 2, Halmstad Handboll 2, H43 Lund HF 1, Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll, Ystads IF HF 4 and Trelleborg Handbollsklubb.

Alingsås HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Tollarps IF 2 with 3-4. In the Final, Tollarps IF 2 won over IFK Kristianstad 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.

Alingsås HK also participated in Pojkar 2005 C1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They won B-Slutspel, after beating Växjö HF in the final with 10-5.
