In addition to the 5 H43 Lund teams, 55 other teams played in Pojkar 2002. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof H43 Lund HF 2 could be found in Group 3 together with Hultsfreds HF, Kärra HF, Vallentuna HK, HK Silwing/Troja hk silwing/troja, Uppsala HK 1, IFK Kristianstad 2, VästeråsIrsta HF, Eslövs HF and Trelleborg Handbollsklubb 2.

H43 Lund HF 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof 2 with 8-9. In the Final, H43 Lund HF migogang won over IK Sävehof 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002.
