Silver medal! Reached second place in A-Slutspel

In addition to the two Sävehof teams, 58 other teams played in Pojkar 2002. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IK Sävehof 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Halmstad Handboll 2, H43 Lund HF 5, IFK Kristianstad 1, Vetlanda HF 2, Hammarby IF HF 1, Ljunghusens HK, Ystads IF HF 4, Staffanstorps HK and Uppsala HK 2.

IK Sävehof 2 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against H43 Lund HF migogang with 8-10. Thereby IK Sävehof 2 finished second in P02 A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
