In addition to the two Sävehof teams, 43 other teams played in Flickor 2001. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IK Sävehof 1 could be found in Group 5 together with Falu HK, Lugi HF 1, IFK Kristianstad 2, Staffanstorps HK, IFK Bankeryd, HK Ankaret 2, Ystads IF HF and Uppsala HK 2.

IK Sävehof 1 made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against IFK Kristianstad 1, which they won with 13-7. Thereby IK Sävehof 1 won the entire B-Slutspel in Flickor 2001 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
