In addition to the three Bolton teams, 75 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IK Bolton 1 could be found in Group 4 together with Borlänge HK 1, Ronneby HK, HK Malmö 2, IK Sund 2, Åhus Handboll 3, Alingsås HK 3, Halmstad Handboll 5, IFK Tumba HK and OV Helsingborg HK.

IK Bolton 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 9-14. In the Final, Eskilstuna Guif IF won over Vinslövs HK and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.
