In addition to the three Bolton teams, 75 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IK Bolton 2 could be found in Group 5 together with Skuru IK 2, Alingsås HK 5, Ljunghusens HK, IFK Kristianstad 4, Halmstad Handboll 3, H43 Lund HF 5, Borlänge HK 2, Vetlanda HF 1 and IK Sund 1.

IK Bolton 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Växjö HF 2 with 2-6. In the Final, IFK Malmö HF won over KFUM Kalmar HK and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.
