In addition to the 5 Alingsås teams, 73 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 5 could be found in Group 5 together with Skuru IK 2, Ljunghusens HK, IFK Kristianstad 4, Halmstad Handboll 3, IK Bolton 2, H43 Lund HF 5, Borlänge HK 2, Vetlanda HF 1 and IK Sund 1.

Alingsås HK 5 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Alingsås HK 4 with 8-9. In the Final, H43 Lund HF 2 won over Alingsås HK 4 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.

Alingsås HK also participated in Pojkar 2004 C2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the Semi final in P04 A-Slutspel, but lost it against HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm with 9-11.
