In addition to the two Tomelilla teams, 43 other teams played in Pojkar 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Tomelilla IF 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Lugi HF 3, Halmstad Handboll 3, Hässleholms HF, Ystads IF HF 2, Åhus Handboll 3, Uppsala HK, Önnereds HK and H 78 Sölvesborg 1.

Tomelilla IF 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Lugi HF 1 with 7-9. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad Lag 2 won over Önnereds HK and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2008.

Tomelilla IF also participated in Pojkar 2008 E during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in P08 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 1 with 2-8.
