In addition to the three Lugi teams, 42 other teams played in Pojkar 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Lugi HF 1 could be found in Group 2 together with HK Ankaret 1, IFK Kristianstad Lag 2, Lödde Vikings HK 2, Göinge HK, IK Lågan Hörby, IFK Bankeryd, Ystads IF HF 1 and Alingsås HK 3.

Lugi HF 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad Lag 2 with 2-7. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad Lag 2 won over Önnereds HK and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2008.
