In addition to the two Ankaret teams, 43 other teams played in Pojkar 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof HK Ankaret 1 could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Kristianstad Lag 2, Lödde Vikings HK 2, Göinge HK, IK Lågan Hörby, Lugi HF 1, IFK Bankeryd, Ystads IF HF 1 and Alingsås HK 3.

HK Ankaret 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad Lag3 with 4-11. In the Final, Ystads IF HF 1 won over Lugi HF 3 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2008.
