In addition to the three Lugi teams, 42 other teams played in Pojkar 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Lugi HF 3 could be found in Group 3 together with Tomelilla IF 1, Halmstad Handboll 3, Hässleholms HF, Ystads IF HF 2, Åhus Handboll 3, Uppsala HK, Önnereds HK and H 78 Sölvesborg 1.

Lugi HF 3 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 1 with 6-7. Thereby Lugi HF 3 finished second in P08 A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
