In addition to the two Bjärnums teams, 47 other teams played in Flickor 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Bjärnums HK 1 could be found in Group 4 together with HK Ankaret - Pirayorna, IFK Kristianstad 1, IFK Malmö HF 1, Tollarps IF 2, Hammarby IF HF 1, Lödde Vikings HK 1, Gökstens BK 2, Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll and Trelleborg Handbollsklubb RB.

Bjärnums HK 1 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against IFK Malmö HF 2 with 5-10. In the Final, IFK Malmö HF 2 won over H43 Lund HF 2 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2008.

Bjärnums HK also participated in Flickor 2008 E during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in F08 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Trelleborg HBK with 2-5.
