In addition to the two Trelleborg teams, 47 other teams played in Flickor 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Trelleborg Handbollsklubb RB could be found in Group 4 together with HK Ankaret - Pirayorna, IFK Kristianstad 1, IFK Malmö HF 1, Tollarps IF 2, Bjärnums HK 1, Hammarby IF HF 1, Lödde Vikings HK 1, Gökstens BK 2 and Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll.

Trelleborg Handbollsklubb RB continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Tumba HK 1 with 3-7. In the Final, Lödde Vikings HK 1 won over Lödde Vikings HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2008.
