MATS was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to MATS, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof MATS could be found in Group 5 together with HSB Malmö, Caymens, Sommarpågarna and WickieZ Änglar. MATS continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against DankGang with 5-8. In the Final, Bygg & Vent i Syd AB won over Svetten Rinner and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. MATS comes from Hörby which lies approximately 42 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
