In addition to the two Växjö teams, 76 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Växjö HF 2 could be found in Group 3 together with Ronneby HK 1, Kristianstad HK 2, Tollarps IF 1, Alingsås HK 2, Tyresö Handboll 3, Vinslövs HK 2, IK Lågan Hörby 1, Lugi HF 2 and Huddinge HK 2.

Växjö HF 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IK Bolton with 5-7. In the Final, IK Lågan Hörby 1 won over Ljunghusens HK and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2006.

Växjö HF also participated in Flickor 2006 D2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in F06 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Tyresö Handboll 1 with 3-7.
