In addition to the three Alingsås teams, 75 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 2 could be found in Group 3 together with Ronneby HK 1, Kristianstad HK 2, Tollarps IF 1, Växjö HF 2, Tyresö Handboll 3, Vinslövs HK 2, IK Lågan Hörby 1, Lugi HF 2 and Huddinge HK 2.

Alingsås HK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Alingsås HK 1 with 8-11. In the Final, Alingsås HK 1 won over Eslövs IK 3 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2006.

Alingsås HK also participated in Flickor 2006 D2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They won A-Slutspel, after beating Eslövs IK 1 in the final with 9-8.
