In addition to the two Ljunghusens teams, 78 other teams played in Flickor 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Ljunghusens HK 2 could be found in Group 8 together with Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll 1, Hanvikens SK, Åhus Handboll 2, IFK Malmö HF 1, Kärra HF, Vinslövs HK 1, Halmstad Handboll 3 and Lugi HF 4.

Ljunghusens HK 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Uppsala HK 1 with 5-12. In the Final, Uppsala HK 1 won over Eslövs IK 3 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2004.

Ljunghusens HK also participated in Flickor 2004 C2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in F04 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Gustavsbergs IF HK with 8-9.
