They participated with 10 teams in Pojkar 2006, Pojkar 2004, Pojkar 2002, Pojkar 2001, Flickor 2008, Flickor 2006 and Flickor 2004 respectively. Two teams played until Semi final in C-Slutspel; Flickor 2004 2 lost against Uppsala HK 1 by 5-12 and Pojkar 2002 lost against Halmstad Handboll 1 by 7-9. In addition to this, Ljunghusens HK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017, Ljunghusens had 15 teams playing in 8 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 29 categories. The team in Flickor 2007 D1 made it to the the Semi final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund 2 by 8-12. Ljunghusens comes from Höllviken which lies approximately 100 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Höllviken does also provide 31 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018 (Among others: Mmm Tacos, Lugi HF, Vakant, Sparbanken Skåne, IFK Malmö HF, H43 Lund HF, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb, Staffanstorps HK, HK Malmö and Spiken & hans 7 lärjungar).
