In addition to the two Ljunghusens teams, 63 other teams played in Pojkar 2006. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Ljunghusens HK 1 could be found in Group 4 together with IFK Kristianstad 4, VästeråsIrsta HF, Halmstad Handboll 2, Torslanda HK, Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll Karlskrona Handboll P06 lag 1, H43 Lund HF 2, Lödde Vikings HK 1, Önnereds HK 3 and Ystads IF HF 1.

Ljunghusens HK 1 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Ljunghusens HK 2 with 6-11. In the Final, Ljunghusens HK 2 won over Torslanda HK and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006.

Ljunghusens HK also participated in Pojkar 2006 D2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in P06 B-Slutspel, but lost it against HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 2 with 7-10.
