In addition to the three Lödde Vikings teams, 62 other teams played in Pojkar 2006. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Lödde Vikings HK 1 could be found in Group 4 together with Ljunghusens HK 1, IFK Kristianstad 4, VästeråsIrsta HF, Halmstad Handboll 2, Torslanda HK, Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll Karlskrona Handboll P06 lag 1, H43 Lund HF 2, Önnereds HK 3 and Ystads IF HF 1.

Lödde Vikings HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Trelleborg Handbollsklubb Vit with 6-8. In the Final, HK Silwing/Troja won over Eskilstuna Guif IF 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006.
