Heradsbygda Håndballklubb was the only club from Norway that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.
In addition to Heradsbygda Håndballklubb, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Heradsbygda Håndballklubb could be found in Group 2 together with Kungarna av Tylösand, Party, Stolpskottet, HP Warta, Electric Banana Band, A-laget and Pen IS. Heradsbygda Håndballklubb continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Gamla Gardet(GG) with 7-12. In the Final, HK Spräng won over Kungarna av Tylösand and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer.
