Mönsterås HK was one of 265 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 2001. Two teams played until 1/4 Final in C-Slutspel; Pojkar 2001 1 lost against IFK Kristianstad 1 by 11-12 and Pojkar 2001 2 lost against Halmstad Handboll 2 by 10-13.
In addition to this, Mönsterås HK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018, Mönsterås had two teams playing in Pojkar 2002 and Pojkar 2001 respectively. The team in Pojkar 2001 made it to the the 1/4 Final in C-Slutspel, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 by 10-12. Mönsterås comes from KALMAR which lies approximately 150 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
