In addition to the two Mönsterås teams, 28 other teams played in Pojkar 2001. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Mönsterås HK 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Halmstad Handboll 1, H43 Lund HF Blå, Uppsala HK 1, Borlänge HK, Åhus Handboll Blå2, IK Sävehof Allstars, IK Bolton 1, IFK Kristianstad 1 and HK Ankaret.

Mönsterås HK 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 2 with 10-13. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 2 won over IFK Kristianstad 1 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001.

Mönsterås HK also participated in Pojkar 2001 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in P01 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 10-12.
