In addition to the three Bolton teams, 27 other teams played in Pojkar 2001. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof IK Bolton 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Halmstad Handboll 1, Mönsterås HK 2, H43 Lund HF Blå, Uppsala HK 1, Borlänge HK, Åhus Handboll Blå2, IK Sävehof Allstars, IFK Kristianstad 1 and HK Ankaret.

IK Bolton 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 1 Vit with 7-11. In the Final, H43 Lund HF 1 Vit won over HK Aranäs and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001.

IK Bolton also participated in Pojkar 2001 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in P01 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll 2 with 10-14.
