In addition to the three Halmstad teams, 27 other teams played in Pojkar 2001. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll 2 could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Kristianstad 2, Önnereds HK Team Dino, Åhus Handboll Blå, Borlänge HK Svart, Karlskrona Handboll, IK Bolton 3, H43 Lund HF Migogang, H43 Lund HF 1 H43 Lund Elit and HK Roslagen.

Halmstad Handboll 2 made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against IFK Kristianstad 1, which they won with 9-8. Thereby Halmstad Handboll 2 won the entire C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019.

Halmstad Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2001 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in P01 A-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 1 with 6-7.
