In addition to the three Halmstad teams, 56 other teams played in Pojkar 2002. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll 2 could be found in Group 3 together with IFK Malmö HF 1, IK Sävehof P03 Boysen, Hammarby IF HF 2, Lugi HF, Torslanda HK Blå, Raklev G&I HF Kalundborg 2, Ystads IF HF 2, Uppsala HK Snabba fötter and IFK Kristianstad 3.

Halmstad Handboll 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against HK Ankaret 1 with 6-8. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 4 won over HK Ankaret 1 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002.

Halmstad Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in P02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 1 with 5-12.
