In addition to the 5 Halmstad teams, 75 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll Röd1 could be found in Group 7 together with Raklev G&I 2, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb, IFK Bankeryd 2, Lugi HF 2, Ystads IF HF 2, Torslanda HK, IFK Kristianstad 4, IFK Tumba HK Tumba and Eskilstuna Guif IF.

Halmstad Handboll Röd1 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Hammarby IF HF 1 with 6-7. In the Final, Kävlinge HK 1 won over Ystads IF HF 5 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.

Halmstad Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in P05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 1 with 13-15.
