In addition to the two Halmstad teams, 77 other teams from 3 different countries played in Flickor 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll Röd could be found in Group 5 together with Uppsala HK 2, IK Baltichov SOL, Höörs HK H 65 2, HK Aranäs 1, H43 Lund HF 1, IK Lågan Hörby 2, IFK Tumba HK, Åhus Handboll 1 and Haninge HK 2.
Halmstad Handboll Röd continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 2 with 4-11. In the Final, Haninge HK 2 won over Vinslövs HK and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2005. Halmstad Handboll also participated in Flickor 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
