In addition to the four Halmstad teams, 71 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll 2 could be found in Group 8 together with Kävlinge HK 2, Alingsås HK 2, Eslövs HF 1grön, IFK Skövde HK, IK Bolton 1, Skuru IK 1, HK Malmö 2, H43 Lund HF 6 and Norrköpings HK.

Halmstad Handboll 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 4 with 10-12. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 3 won over H43 Lund HF 4 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.

Halmstad Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in P04 A-Slutspel, but lost it against HK Silwing/Troja with 11-13.
