In addition to the two Malmö teams, 73 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof HK Malmö 2 could be found in Group 8 together with Kävlinge HK 2, Alingsås HK 2, Eslövs HF 1grön, IFK Skövde HK, IK Bolton 1, Skuru IK 1, H43 Lund HF 6, Norrköpings HK and Halmstad Handboll 2.

HK Malmö 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HK Silwing-Troja with 6-13. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 3 won over H43 Lund HF 4 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.

HK Malmö also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in P04 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Alingsås HK 2 with 6-13.
