In addition to the four Halmstad teams, 71 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll 1 could be found in Group 7 together with Åhus Handboll 3, Skuru IK 2, Borlänge HK 2, Redbergslids IK 2, H43 Lund HF 7, Eslövs HF 2vit, Huddinge HK 1 and IK Bolton 4.
Halmstad Handboll 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 2 with 5-12. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 3 won over H43 Lund HF 4 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004. Halmstad Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
