In addition to the two Åhus teams, 77 other teams from 3 different countries played in Flickor 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 1 could be found in Group 5 together with Uppsala HK 2, IK Baltichov SOL, Halmstad Handboll Röd, Höörs HK H 65 2, HK Aranäs 1, H43 Lund HF 1, IK Lågan Hörby 2, IFK Tumba HK and Haninge HK 2.

Åhus Handboll 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lidingö SK Röd with 8-9. In the Final, Lödde Vikings HK 3 won over Eslövs IK Svart and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2005.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Flickor 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in F05 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Huddinge HK 1 with 4-5.
