In addition to the two Åhus teams, 78 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 3 together with Lödde Vikings HK 2, Huddinge HK 3, IK Sävehof, Bjärnums HK 1, Uppsala HK 4, Hammarby IF HF 2, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb Guld, Ronneby HK 2 and Tomelilla IF.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Haninge HK with 8-9. In the Final, GF Kroppskultur won over Ronneby HK 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2006.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Flickor 2006 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in F06 B-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 1 with 8-12.
