In addition to the two Bjärnums teams, 78 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Bjärnums HK 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Lödde Vikings HK 2, Huddinge HK 3, IK Sävehof, Uppsala HK 4, Hammarby IF HF 2, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb Guld, Ronneby HK 2, Åhus Handboll 2 and Tomelilla IF.

Bjärnums HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Kävlinge HK with 8-9. In the Final, GF Kroppskultur won over Ronneby HK 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2006.

Bjärnums HK also participated in Flickor 2006 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in F06 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Eslövs IK 1 with 3-7.
