In addition to Tomelilla IF, 79 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Tomelilla IF could be found in Group 3 together with Lödde Vikings HK 2, Huddinge HK 3, IK Sävehof, Bjärnums HK 1, Uppsala HK 4, Hammarby IF HF 2, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb Guld, Ronneby HK 2 and Åhus Handboll 2.

Tomelilla IF continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Vinslövs HK 2 with 6-12. In the Final, Höörs HK H 65 1 won over IFK Tumba HK and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2006.

Tomelilla IF also participated in Flickor 2006 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in F06 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Lugi HF 1 with 3-9.
