In addition to the two Tomelilla teams, 73 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Tomelilla IF 1 could be found in Group 4 together with Alingsås HK 4, HK Silwing-Troja, Åhus Handboll 2, H43 Lund HF 3, Karlskrona Handboll 2, HK Aranäs 2, Vinslövs HK p04 and HK Roslagen 1.

Tomelilla IF 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IK Bolton 1 with 7-13. In the Final, Önnereds HK won over Borlänge HK 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.

Tomelilla IF also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in P04 B-Slutspel, but lost it against IK Lågan Hörby with 7-12.
