In addition to the three Åhus teams, 72 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Alingsås HK 4, HK Silwing-Troja, H43 Lund HF 3, Karlskrona Handboll 2, HK Aranäs 2, Vinslövs HK p04, Tomelilla IF 1 and HK Roslagen 1.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Borlänge HK 1 with 8-10. In the Final, Önnereds HK won over Borlänge HK 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in P04 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 4 with 11-16.
