In addition to the two Åhus teams, 77 other teams played in Flickor 2003. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 6 together with Kristianstad HK 2, Lugi HF 3, Borlänge HK 2, Vadstena HF, IFK Bankeryd, Huddinge HK Blå, Höörs HK H 65 F04 1, HK Aranäs Vit and Skåre HK 2.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK Svart with 9-10. In the Final, H43 Lund HF won over Kristianstad HK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2003.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Flickor 2003 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in F03 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Skuru IK 2 with 7-10.
