In addition to the four Kristianstad teams, 75 other teams played in Flickor 2003. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Kristianstad HK 2 could be found in Group 6 together with Lugi HF 3, Borlänge HK 2, Åhus Handboll 2, Vadstena HF, IFK Bankeryd, Huddinge HK Blå, Höörs HK H 65 F04 1, HK Aranäs Vit and Skåre HK 2.
Kristianstad HK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Falu HK 2 with 5-9. In the Final, H43 Lund HF won over Kristianstad HK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2003. Kristianstad HK also participated in Flickor 2003 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
