They participated with 13 teams in 9 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 34 categories. Two teams played until 1/4 Final in A-Slutspel; Elit Dam 1 lost against Köbenhavn HB 1 by 7-8 and Elit Dam 2 lost against Köbenhavn HB 2 by 10-14. In addition to this, Skuru IK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018, Skuru had 8 teams playing in Pojkar 2005, Pojkar 2004, Flickor 2007, Flickor 2003 and Flickor 2002 respectively. The team in Flickor 2007 made it to the the Final in A-Slutspeland won it over Staffanstorps HK by 13-11. Skuru comes from Saltsjö-Boo which lies approximately 440 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Saltsjö-Boo does also provide 38 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019 (Among others: IF Swithiod, Vallentuna pitbulls, Vallentuna Snipers, Sannadals SK, Skogås HK, Hyfsat Bekanta, Vi Är Inte Ni!, Tyresö Handboll, Bollstanäs SK and Fellans gäng).
